Hi, I'm Aine Rock

“We want to think that joy and sadness are completely separate, but as we learn from the great teachers, they are not separate. They are entwined together.” – Aine Rock

The holidays this year are going to look a bit different thanks to the continued spread of COVID-19. You are probably feeling some combination of anger, sadness, and disappointment. That’s ok! This week on Rock Your Joy, Aine shares why it’s so important to make space for all of your feelings, no matter how big or how difficult they may be. She also shares tips for shifting your perspective so you can still find joy this holiday season.

2020 has thrown us all for a loop. In many cities across the United States, a second series of COVID lockdowns are taking place right before the holidays. If you’ve made the difficult decision not to see your family for Thanksgiving or the December holidays, you’re likely feeling disappointment, sadness, anger, or even grief.

These feelings are normal. Instead of steaming over them, make space for all of your difficult feelings. This week on Rock Your Joy, Aine gives tools to unpack your feelings and consciously co-create a new reality. Listen in for tips on how a gratitude practice can help you shift your perspective.
