“I can’t think of anywhere that we have more impact than in our own home. And I want to remind you of your influence and your agency. But first, I want you to get centered and clear on what’s coming up for you.” – Aine Rock
In times of uncertainty, it’s ok not to have all the answers. You may feel vulnerable, but you still have more of an impact on others, particularly your family, than you realize. Today, Aine reminds you to own your influence and offers a simple guided meditation to help you get clear on your feelings. Listen and connect with your breath.
As our children get older, we tend to think that they’re not really listening to us. But even if they won’t admit it, our children crave our guidance. You have so much more influence than you think! While it can be helpful to check how other moms are handling things, know that there are no right answers and at the end of the day, you must do what is best for your family.
This week on Rock Your Joy, Aine wants you to reclaim your power. The only way to do this, however, is to go back to your breath, get clear on your feelings, and recognize that you don’t have all the answers. That’s ok.
Join Aine for a quick meditation that will help you get centered so that you can have the kinds of vulnerable, messy conversations that come with being a parent.
